Easy and safe activation

With the free download of the tool BRAdmin Professional 4 (BRAdmin Pro 4) you can activate the following solutions:

Whether you're looking to activate just one solution for one device or upgrade an entire office, BRAdmin Professional 4 is the only software you'll need to quickly do the job. 

1. Download

Click on the "Download" link and search for your printer / scanner. Your current operating system will now be displayed. Confirm and click on "Search". The BRAdmin Professional 4 download link can be found by expanding the “Management Tools” section of the machine to “View All”.

2. Install

Once you have installed BRAdmin Professional 4, it will search for Brother devices on your network and on your local USB port. In the list, select the devices on which you want to activate the Brother upgrade. Activation takes place in the "Manage solutions" menu.

3. Activate 

Now enter the license file, one or more codes that you have received from your Brother dealer. With your PC connected to the Internet, your purchased upgrades will be activated and ready to use on your Brother devices with one click.

This Brother software enables system administrators to manage and monitor the Brother devices connected via the network or USB. 
The device must have the following features:
•    Compatible with the respective Brother upgrade
•    It can be connected via USB or LAN/WLAN
•    Has the latest firmware
No. Only the PC running Brother BRAdmin Professional 4 must be connected to the Internet to activate the code.
No personal data is stored during the activation process. Only the model name, serial number, and activation date are recorded in the event of a service call.
Once an activation code has been registered for a software solution, it cannot be reused. In this case, contact Brother for a replacement code.
You can check this from the Dashboard in Brother BRAdmin Professional 4 in the column "Activated Features".
Yes. Multiple activation codes for upgrade solutions can be entered using Brother BRAdmin Professional 4.
No. Activation codes for upgrade solutions cannot be used twice. You will then need a replacement code. Please contact Brother for this. 
No, there is no expiration date for license codes. Once activated, they are available for this device indefinitely.
