Connecting your printer

Step 1: Identify the type of touchscreen your printer has and follow the instructions.

Touchscreen Type 1

From the home screen, swipe to the left or right of the screen and select the Web icon.

Touchscreen Type 2

Press the Functions icon on the home screen and then select the Web icon.

Touchscreen Type 3

If your home screen is split into tabs e.g. Basic 1, Basic 2, go to the Basic 2 tab and select the Web icon.

Now follow the steps below to complete the process...

Step 2: Scroll until you see the Connect device to Brother Online icon (blue circle). Press on the icon and then follow the prompts on the screen.

Step 3: Now click on the blue Connect button in the Brother MPS system (in the other web browser you have open), enter the 6-digit installation code on your printer and press OK.

Step 4: Once you see Registration complete on your printer screen, press OK.

Step 5: A green connected cloud icon will appear in the Brother MPS system (in the My Printer has a colour LCD screen dropdown) which means you have successfully connected your printer. 

If you have more than one printer, complete the above process for each printer.
