Connecting your printer

The easiest way to find your printer's IP address is to print a network configuration list. Simply identify the type of printer interface you have and follow the instructions.

Step 3: Enter the IP Address values exactly as seen on your network configuration report into the IP Address boxes in the Brother MPS system (accessible via your other browser window). You can use the tab key or click into each box to enter the next number, example IP: 10.10.8.20

Step 4: Click on the blue Connect button. A new browser window will open and your Brother printer will start connecting to the Brother MPS system.

Step 5: Once you see Registration complete, you can close the window.

Step 6: A green connected cloud icon will appear in the Brother MPS system (in the My Printer does not have a colour LCD screen dropdown) which means you have successfully connected your printer.

If you have more than one printer, complete the above process for each printer.
